A witch stands in profile with her besom, cloak streaming behind her in ribbons of black and violet. Behind her a huge moon fills most of the disc, broken into crackled segments of cream, teal and pale gold the way old window glass is broken into panes. Marigolds and burnt-orange blooms crowd the lower edge, a small cauldron sits by her boot, and a round green companion crouches to her right.
A planet hangs off to one side. The frame is a wide gold band of scrollwork with a mounting hole at the top and another at the bottom.
The colours run jewel-toned rather than orange-and-black novelty, so it holds a front door from Samhain straight through the dark half of the year. Take the smaller disc for a shelf easel and the larger one for the wall. Good for a friend who keeps her broom by the door in every season. Whatever the name suggests, the artwork itself is autumnal rather than snowy, so judge it from the photographs.
