🕯️ A rug is the only piece of decor you stand inside. Wiccan area rugs here split almost evenly between round and rectangular, and the shape changes what the rug is for.

A round one laid down marks a circle without anyone chalking one, which is the practical reason they turn up in home practice: it defines a working space and rolls away again when the room goes back to being a living room. Rectangles do the ordinary job of anchoring furniture.

Both shapes are machine washable and low pile, so they sit flat under furniture instead of rucking at the edges.
