A witch in profile fills the right side of the disc: black hat with a wide floppy brim and a buckled band, eyes closed under rust-red shadow, red lips, a black lace choker with a small skull pendant at her throat. Her hair is glossy black and falls in slow, heavy waves to the lower rim.
Around her, copper-colored branches spread across a grey cracked background, hung with scarlet maple leaves and small red berries. A black crow sits on a branch at her shoulder, facing her. More leaves gather along the bottom edge. Everything - leaf veins, feather edges, the buckle on the hatband - is printed to look like carved relief, while the panel itself stays flat and light.
Grey and scarlet is a Samhain palette that keeps working through November, so this does not have to come down in the first week of the month. It suits a bedroom door, a hallway, or the wall behind an altar with autumn offerings on it. A good gift for a friend who claims the crow as her familiar.
