A witch in profile crosses the middle of the disc with a long broom over one shoulder, her skirt torn into ragged layers that trail behind her. Everything is worked in pale stone colours — cream, grey, soft ochre — as though the scene had been cut from marble. Two gnarled bare trees frame the picture, their branches meeting overhead. A plain round moon hangs between them, bats cross beneath it, and a rocky ledge runs along the bottom edge.
The carved impression is printed onto a flat panel, with the shadow between each branch painted in. There is no actual depth to the surface.
The muted palette makes this one of the calmer witch signs — it fits a hallway or a guest room, not just an October porch. Pale grey and cream sit well beside winter greenery, so it carries on through Yule. A gift for someone who likes their folklore quiet, and who would rather have a scene to look into than a slogan to read.
