The whole thing is drawn like an old engraving — heavy cross-hatching, ink lines instead of gradients, a muted grey-blue moon behind his head. Small stars, bats and a thin red thread of smoke drift near the edges. Three colors, really: slate, bone and a little rust. Even the moon is built from hatching rather than a smooth gradient.
