Gothic Witch Metal Sign Halloween Decor

Eyes closed, leaves falling.

She is caught mid-breath: face tilted up, eyes shut, dark lips slightly parted. A black leather hat with a heavy buckled band leans back off her forehead, the brim curling at one side. Her hair pours down in grey-black waves, and a dark cracked glaze runs from her eye across her cheek like old paint. Behind her the ground is bone white and split with fine cracks, crossed by thin twisted branches.

Half a dozen orange maple leaves drop through the scene, the only warm color on the whole disc. At her collar sits a round medallion with a symbol pressed into it, hung on a knotted cord. The relief effect, from the buckle to the branch shadows, is printed onto a flat panel rather than molded.

The palette is bone, charcoal and rust, which puts it in Samhain territory without a single pumpkin. Hang it on a bedroom door, over an autumn altar, or in a covered entry through October. It reads well as a gift for someone who likes their Halloween solemn rather than silly. Pre-drilled holes make hanging quick.
