A broad tree stands dead center, the trunk twisting into a braid and the roots spreading below in the same rope-like coils, so crown and root mirror each other almost exactly. The foliage is frosted white, the bark pale silver, and the ground behind is black with a scatter of small stars.

Round blue lights hang through the branches, some on short cords, some glowing at the root tips, cool and electric against all that white. The rim is a wide bronze band of Celtic interlace with round medallions set at intervals, and a thin silver ring separates it from the picture. Knotwork, bark and glow are all printed onto a flat disc.

This one works well away from Halloween: a stairwell, a bedroom, a covered porch through the whole year. The blue and bronze sit nicely against dark green paint or bare brick. It makes an easy gift for a Yule exchange or a handfasting, or for anyone who keeps a tree symbol on the altar.
