The center is one strong shape: a witch in a navy gown flying left to right on a broom, hat brim pushed up by the wind, skirts and hair streaming behind her, all of it dark blue with a glittered finish against a huge pale full moon.
That moon is drawn with real craters and set in a black sky with scattered stars. Around it runs a wide band made to look like set jewelry: large faceted stones alternating sapphire and clear, silver flowers between them, and a row of tiny beads along both edges.
It wants direct light more than most, because the moon and the border are what carry it and both go grey in shade. Hang it in a bathroom or bedroom window, or over a dressing table. A good gift for someone whose witchcraft runs glamorous, and it doubles as Halloween decor in October without having to come down on the first of November.
