The background is drawn to look like a church window: a tall arch of pale grey and cream panes with a full moon behind the cat's head, dark cames running between the sections, and small amber cabochons set at the joins. Red and rust roses climb the frame from both sides, thorned stems crossing the panes, with fallen blooms at the base. The leading and the bevels are printed onto the surface, so the sign itself stays smooth.
