An oxidised disc carrying a full scene. Three bodies share one figure at the centre, gowned to the floor, arms lifted with torches and keys; two hounds sit at her hem, and pine trees and mountain peaks rise behind her against a stippled night sky. A milky cabochon with a blue flash is set at the top, a crescent turned outward on either side.
Turn it over and the back is worked too: a wheel of crossing lines at the centre, crescents left and right, a crossed torch and key beneath, and Greek letters ringing the rim. The darkened recesses are what make the relief legible at 34.7 by 25.9 mm.
Weighty enough at 7.6 g to feel like a working amulet on a dark moon or at a crossroads rite. Take the pendant alone, or with an 18 or 20 inch chain, or a 24 inch rope.
