A child rides bareback across the card holding a banner on a pole, one arm raised, the horse stepping out to the left. Behind them a brick wall runs the full width, sunflowers on tall stems breaking over the top of it, and the sun itself sits in the upper corner with rays worked all the way round.

The ground is stippled dark while the figures and the wall stay bright, which is what gives the card its glare. Clipped corners, a vine border, The Sun on a raised bar at the bottom, and a twisted rope chain through the bail.

The clearest good-news card in the deck. Give it at Litha, at a birthday, at the end of a long treatment, or to someone finally coming out the far side of a dark stretch and ready to say so.
