Two perched, four in flight.

Two ravens sit on a dark ridge in the foreground, one leaning forward with its beak parted, the other turned back over its shoulder. Behind them a huge pale sun disc fills the panel, and four more birds cross it with wings spread. Bare branches reach in from both sides, and a strip of water catches the last of the light at the bottom.

Everything is worked in flat layers of charcoal and warm cream, like cut plywood stacked to build depth, with a wide light ring framing the whole thing. That layered woodcut effect, shadows and all, is printed onto a single smooth aluminium disc, and the panel itself is thin enough to hang from one small nail.

The palette is warmer than most raven decor, so it works past Samhain and into ordinary autumn: an entry hall, a study, above a bookshelf. Ravens carry a long association with memory and messages in Norse and Celtic story. Give it to someone who feeds the crows in their yard and knows them by sight.
