A crescent moon takes the left half of the panel, gold and pitted, with a pale profile set into its curve. The face is calm, eyes closed, and a fan of wavy gold rays spreads back from the brow like hair. To the right sits a sun: a plain gold disc with a beaded rim and long pointed rays fanning out around it, no face at all.
The ground behind them is a mottled blue-grey, streaked and scorched as though the metal had been left outdoors for a season. The gold has worn thin along the raised edges and the corners are darkened. It is the plainest piece in this group and probably the most restful of them, and the whole cast-bronze look sits on a flat printed surface.
Landscape shape means it hangs well over a bed, a doorway or a mantel, and the muted palette keeps it quiet in a shared room. Good on an Esbat altar wall, or as a gift for someone who tracks the moon rather than decorates for it.
