A broad tree fills the whole disc, its canopy cut into green and gold leaf panels, branches curling back on themselves. Roots spread wide at the base in red-brown segments over low hills. Behind the trunk a yellow-white sunburst throws rays out between the branches, and a border of blue and teal panels rings the edge.

The panelled, seamed look is printed flat onto clear glass. There is no lead, no solder and no separate pieces of coloured glass, just ink on one smooth face with a bevelled rim around it.

The tree of life reads as roots and branches holding each other up, which makes it an easy gift for a housewarming or a first Yule in a new place. Hang it on the tree or in a window. Glass, so it will not survive a fall. The sunburst gives it a solstice reading too.
