This one is drawn in the layered papercut style: a white owl on a branch, speckled across the head and breast, amber eyes wide, with stacked white pines and leaves cut in front of it and bare birch trunks holding the sides. Everything sits in shades of white and grey, and the whole scene is backlit in warm amber that pours through the gaps.

The numerals are black serif and run around the top and both sides. Along the bottom the cut-paper undergrowth takes over the ring, so it is not a full numbered dial and the hands carry the reading. Black hands, a red second hand, and a raised white rim printed flat onto the panel.

The palette is pure Yule, so it earns its place from November on. Good for a nursery, a bedroom, or a gift for someone who keeps winter decor up until February.
