Cold light, and a spire behind.

This owl is worked almost entirely in blue and violet — head, shoulders, folded wings, the ledge it stands on — with just a wash of rust across the wing and one amber eye holding the center. Behind it sits a cathedral interior in glass: a tall pointed arch, a rose window of turquoise panes above, two round turquoise cabochons set left and right, and a grey stone spire rising in the middle distance.

A black rim closes the disc, which keeps the cool colors looking lit rather than washed out. The leading lines between panes and the facets on the two cabochons are drawn into the artwork.

Hang it on a window that gets late light, where the blue goes deep instead of grey. It suits a bedroom, a bathroom, or a hallway pane, and it sits comfortably alongside gothic decor without being seasonal. A good gift for someone drawn to owls, to church architecture, or to both at once — and easier to place than a piece that only works in October.

Returns & guarantee

If it is not what we showed you. Damaged, the wrong item, or materially different from the photographs — tell us within 30 days of delivery. One email and one clear photo is enough to start. You choose a refund or a replacement, and in many cases we settle it from the photo and you keep the item.

If it never arrives. If your parcel has not reached you 60 days after it shipped, we refund your order in full.
