Perched where the branch forks.

A raven takes the whole left side, drawn in layered blacks with a heavy beak and one visible eye, claws gripping a bare branch that splits away into fine twigs. Behind it sits an enormous moon, pale grey and pitted with craters, with snow or stars drifting across the face. Two dead trees show through in silhouette.

There is no colour in this one at all. The disc runs from charcoal to bone, and the border is a double ring of mosaic tiles in smoky sepia and cream that catch light differently from the scene inside. It is the quietest design in the range and the one that reads best from a distance.

Ravens sit in Norse and Celtic story as messengers and keepers of memory, which suits a north-facing window or a workroom where you want something austere rather than bright. It also holds up all year — hang it for Samhain and there is no reason to take it down in November.

Why This Piece Feels Meaningful.

Raven and Crow imagery gives the design its main character through themes of intelligence, observation and mystery. Supporting details deepen the dark symbolic atmosphere without replacing that central motif.
