Red glass behind three crows.

A raven stands on a grey skull with his beak open mid-call, wings half folded, one red eye showing. Two more crows fly behind him, one out to each side, and bare black branches cross the panel from both edges.

The sky is red and cut into panes like a rose window, deeper at the outside and hot towards the middle. A spider sits in a web at the base of the skull. The border is pewter, two rings of small knotwork tiles with round red cabochons set at the four points.

This is the loudest thing you could hang on a front door in October, and it holds up on a plain black window frame the rest of the year. It suits Samhain, a horror shelf or a hallway that is already dark. Good for the friend whose whole house is red, black and pewter, and for anyone who wants one piece with real teeth in it rather than a cute cat.

  • Material: printed acrylic panel, hung from a cord through two holes at the top
  • Sizes: 15x15CM and 20x20CM
  • Care: wipe clean with a soft dry cloth
  • Note: the stained-glass effect is printed onto clear acrylic, not leaded glass

SYMBOLIC MEANING

Why This Piece Feels Meaningful.

Raven and Crow imagery gives the design its main character through themes of intelligence, observation and mystery. Supporting details deepen the dark symbolic atmosphere without replacing that central motif.
