The serpent sheds its skin and lives on, the ancient sign of renewal coiled through the temple of the oracle.
In the old stories serpents guarded sacred places and spoke through oracles, as at Delphi where a great snake once kept the shrine. The serpent stands for wisdom, rebirth and the earth's hidden power. Under a crescent moon it becomes the guardian of a woman's own knowing.
For the priestess, the mystic and the myth lover: a pagan dress for Beltane, new moon work, ritual circles or any day you need to feel like your own oracle.
