Three birds perch around him.

A black cat sits inside an oval opening, fur worked in deep teal-black with a blue sheen along the back and down the tail. The eyes are gold and level. A studded red collar circles the throat with a single gold bell hanging from it. The cream ground behind is dotted with gold and red blossoms on thin bare branches.

Three small dark birds share those branches with him, two on the left and one at his right shoulder, heads turned in, none of them concerned. The oval is ringed by a heavy frame in blue-green patina and bronze, a scrolled crest at the top and its match at the base. The outer plate has rusted through in patches along the edges. Every bit of that depth is printed onto a flat sheet.

Portrait, and it suits a hallway or the wall above a dresser. Cat and corvid together is old cottage-witch shorthand for a familiar who prefers to work with company. A good gift for someone whose house already runs on exactly that arrangement.

Returns & guarantee

If it is not what we showed you. Damaged, the wrong item, or materially different from the photographs — tell us within 30 days of delivery. One email and one clear photo is enough to start. You choose a refund or a replacement, and in many cases we settle it from the photo and you keep the item.

If it never arrives. If your parcel has not reached you 60 days after it shipped, we refund your order in full.
