A crowned woman enthroned under a triple moon

A dark-haired woman sits on a carved throne in a black feather mantle and a black-and-burgundy gown, wearing a spiked gothic crown set with a red gem. A triple moon stands behind her head like a halo, and the same triple moon returns lower down as a gold belt buckle with a red cabochon at its centre. One hand is raised as a perch for a large black bird, and two more sit on stone plinths to either side of her.

Two carved gothic columns frame the panel, thorny red rose vines climbing them and pale silver-grey sprigs on the left, with a castle spire silhouetted in the sky behind. The throne base is a full Samhain still life: orange-red pumpkins, an old leather-bound book, lit black and burgundy pillar candles in brass sticks, a brass chalice of magenta flowers, and a bone-coloured skull. Autumn maple leaves and ivy drift across the oxblood ground, and a small gold skull hangs from a beaded chain at her chest.
