A raven perches on a bare branch in the middle of the panel, wings folded, head turned left, his feathers laid out in overlapping panes of blue-black and grey. Below him sits a carved pumpkin lit from inside, triangle eyes and a wide grin throwing orange light up onto the bird's chest.

The ground behind splits in two: warm cream and amber on the left, where two small crows fly past a pale moon, and cool teal on the right. Orange maple leaves drift through both halves. A wide mosaic border of small cream, orange and teal tiles runs around the outside, with green quatrefoil medallions at the quarter points.

The autumn palette makes it work from Mabon straight through Samhain and into November, so it lasts longer on the window than a purely Halloween piece would. Hang it where the low afternoon sun comes through. A good gift for someone who decorates for the whole harvest season rather than one night.
