The sun takes the left of the medallion: a broad gold face with closed, contented eyes and thick rays pushing outward. The moon curves round the right, a woman in profile with painted skin, flowers and paisley scrollwork worked all down the crescent. Between them the ground is a purple and blue nebula with small planets floating in it.
A ring of gold light beads circles the pair, and outside that the whole cloth goes violet - lotus blooms, feathery leaves and more mandala work running to the hem. This is the brightest piece in the group; nothing on it is quiet. There is no true black anywhere - the darkest note is the indigo behind the planets, and even that is shot through with pink and teal.
It fits a bohemian dining room, a reading corner, or a party table where the cloth is meant to be looked at. Works for a Litha lunch, or as a housewarming gift for a friend with too many crystals.
