A black cat sits upright on a silver crescent, tail curled along the curve, one yellow eye turned out. The moon has a face of its own: closed eye, straight nose, a small smile in profile. Around them runs a ring of gold and pewter pentacles, five-point stars on short strings, and small triple-moon marks on a dark speckled sky.

It is printed flat on clear glass. The gold looks like pressed charms hanging in front of the cat, but everything sits in one smooth layer, and the bevelled rim does the actual light-catching. The strings the stars hang from are drawn, not real thread.
