A black cat sits with its back to you, ears up, tail curled around its paws, looking into an enormous rose window. The window is drawn as coloured panes in teal, violet and indigo: a wheel of roundels full of flowers, a pale medallion at the top, and tall arched lights below filled with starry blue. The panes and their dark leading are all printed artwork on fabric, not glass, and the tiled floor underneath picks up the same cold colours. Only the cat is solid black.

Cool, quiet and symmetrical, which makes it a calm surface for pulling a card or laying out crystals in the evening.
