An old witch sits on the ground in a long blue-grey robe, her back against a carved pumpkin, white hair falling from under a tall bent hat. Her right hand holds a wand out level with a small violet spark at the tip; her left rests on the pumpkin stem. The jack-o'-lantern's face is cut and grinning beside her.

A gnarled tree fills the right side, roots and knots worked deep, branches arching overhead and dropping orange maple leaves across the top of the disc. Between trunk and branches you get a window onto a full moon and a green-blue starfield. Moss and ivy run along the base. It looks like a cast stone garden plaque, but it is flat aluminium with the carving and the moss printed on.

It suits a covered porch, a garden wall, or a mantel through October. The muted stone tones sit well with real gourds and dried leaves and never clash with the brighter props. A good gift for whoever plays the crone at Samhain.
