Gold wings on deep green.

This dragonfly is worked in metal tones over a bottle-green ground. The upper wings are beaten gold, the lower pair a soft verdigris, all four veined in fine dark line. The body is a long segmented spine of gold and green with a small set stone at each joint.

Two round eyes sit either side of a narrow head. Copper vines curl symmetrically above and below, carrying birch leaves, tiny flowers and one small beetle, and a thin copper ring closes the design. The hammered metal look is printed onto a flat panel. The beetle is easy to miss, tucked into the vine at the upper left. Everything else sits mirrored either side of the body.

Symmetrical and calm, so it hangs well over a doorway, at the centre of a gallery wall, or above a mantel where the balance shows. Green and copper suit an old house. A good gift for someone who likes art nouveau, keeps house plants, or takes a dragonfly as a sign from someone gone.

Returns & guarantee

If it is not what we showed you. Damaged, the wrong item, or materially different from the photographs — tell us within 30 days of delivery. One email and one clear photo is enough to start. You choose a refund or a replacement, and in many cases we settle it from the photo and you keep the item.

If it never arrives. If your parcel has not reached you 60 days after it shipped, we refund your order in full.
