Each front panel has a death's-head moth with a skull on its thorax and small crescents on its forewings, wings spread wide. Above it a black eclipse sun throws fine gold rays, with a crescent and dotted lines of moon phases trailing toward the V-neck. Below, a run of crescents and a full moon leads down to an eight-point star in a thin ring, framed by gray-gold leaf sprays. The trim is plain black rib with white buttons.

The back centerpiece is a larger death's-head moth spread across the shoulder blades, its body set against a black eclipse with a gold corona. A line of moon phases runs down the center to a ringed eight-point star near the hem, with leaf sprays and stars on both sides. Each sleeve carries two smaller skull moths and gold crescent moons.
