Clock parts behind the roses.

Everything on this one is a single pewter grey. A witch stands turned three-quarters away, head bowed under a wide crumpled hat with a rose pinned to the band, hair falling in long ropes down her back. Her gown is worked in deep folds at the sleeve and the waist, and a chain hangs across the bodice.

The background is crowded and strange: a clock face and gear teeth behind her shoulder, brambles and thin briars running the length of the panel, roses in full bloom at the lower left and again in the upper corners. The surface is pitted and speckled throughout, edges rolled like a beaten sheet. The relief, the pitting and the roses are printed onto a flat panel.

Because it holds one tone, it hangs well beside photographs or on a gallery wall without fighting anything. The portrait shape suits a narrow strip between two doors. A good gift for someone whose taste is Victorian mourning rather than orange and black.

Returns & guarantee

If it is not what we showed you. Damaged, the wrong item, or materially different from the photographs — tell us within 30 days of delivery. One email and one clear photo is enough to start. You choose a refund or a replacement, and in many cases we settle it from the photo and you keep the item.

If it never arrives. If your parcel has not reached you 60 days after it shipped, we refund your order in full.
