A raven tops the rose wreath.

A gold pentagram sits inside an oval wreath of braided thorn and red roses, lit from the centre, with a raven perched on top of the frame looking left. Behind it stand bare winter trees, a pale moon and the outline of a graveyard.

Heavy iron candlesticks hold black tapers on both sides, and a low bank of small flowers, worked to look like stitched thread, runs across the bottom. A line of orange script is printed along the foot. The ground is close to black, and the piece is shown at mat size on a table rather than laid on a floor.

The smallest size suits a console table or a wide shelf; the bigger ones go in an entryway. Dark and symmetrical, so it does not argue with a patterned floor. A gift for a solitary who works after dark.

Returns & guarantee

If it is not what we showed you. Damaged, the wrong item, or materially different from the photographs — tell us within 30 days of delivery. One email and one clear photo is enough to start. You choose a refund or a replacement, and in many cases we settle it from the photo and you keep the item.

If it never arrives. If your parcel has not reached you 60 days after it shipped, we refund your order in full.
