Celtic Triquetra Glass Ornament Pagan Yule Ornament

Three loops in spring colours.

The triquetra sits dead centre in white and deep green, each loop filled with a plaited band of knotwork and outlined darker. Behind it runs a watercolour wash of mint, teal and pale grey. Pink and blue five-petal flowers and small shamrocks crowd the lower half and scatter up both sides.

Printed flat onto clear glass. The plaiting looks woven over and under, but a finger across it finds one smooth face. The rim is faceted, so daylight breaks along the edge while the centre stays readable.

The knot is a Celtic sign of things that come in threes, which makes it easy to leave hanging rather than pack away in January. Works on a Yule branch, a window latch, or in a solstice card for a friend. Glass, so hang it where it will not get knocked. The design carries no red or green at all.
