One tree, split down the middle by a yin-yang line. The left half is night: blue leaves, blossom, a full moon over cool water. The right half is day: gold and amber foliage over a sunset field. A small yin-yang sits inside the sun at the top and another inside the moon below, and the roots twist together where the two halves meet. The two skies meet without a hard edge: the cool water on the left bleeds into the gold field on the right through the root system.
A heavy gold ring frames the medallion, printed to look like carved metal, and the black beyond it is dusted with gold specks. The hem band is a run of jewelled roundels in pink, green and blue with a gold sun face at the centre front.
Good on a balance-work altar, an equinox table, or a dining table you want warm rather than gothic. A gift for someone with one foot in Wicca and one in eastern practice.
