A tall pointed stone arch runs up the front of the cone, with carved columns at its feet and quatrefoil and trefoil tracery in its head. A large pale crescent moon hangs inside the arch over an eight-point star and a scatter of small gold star crosses. Green ivy climbs the stonework on gold stems, and black velvet roses sit in the leaves. Above the arch the cone is black quilted velvet in a diamond grid, pricked with gold stars.

The brim is a ring of stone arcades and gothic rose windows drawn in gold tracery, set between black panels that carry pale crescent moons, eight-point stars and small star crosses. Grey stone-block panels fill the gaps. Ivy trails and black roses run the whole way round, with faceted clear crystal teardrops hanging at the seams and a square clear stone at the front point.

For cemetery walks, cloister tours, a black-tie Halloween night or a wedding that wants ivy and stone instead of orange. The wide brim gives a hard gothic line that holds up in low light.
