A heart-cut cabochon sits caged behind a silver tree. The trunk is a woman with her arms lifted into the branches, hair and roots twisting together where they meet the point of the heart. Leafy twigs spread across the face of the stone and curl over the sides, so the colour shows through every gap in the metalwork.
Two stones to pick from. Moonstone reads milk-blue with pink and gold lights that slide as you move. Malachite is solid green, striped with darker bands that run right across the heart. Both hang from a plain rounded bail on a box chain.
This one goes well to anyone marking a beginning: a handfasting, a new home, a first Ostara after a hard winter. The green reads earthy and grounded, the blue reads lunar, so the choice says something about the person you are giving it to. Either one sits well on a working altar between rites.
