Two cats curl into a yin and yang. The white one takes the upper right, long-furred and fine-whiskered, its coat trailing off into pale blue nebula at the lower edge. The black one fills the opposite half, almost lost against the dark, lit only enough to show the same ice-blue eye.

Between them a dark moon shows its craters. The rest of the ground is deep space, dusted with stars and threaded with thin white linework that traces the direction of the fur. Cold blue, black and white, printed onto a flat panel. The two coats meet along an S-curve down the middle, so neither cat quite has an outline of its own.

The circle does a lot of the work, so it suits a small square of wall on its own: beside a doorway, over a light switch, at the end of a hall. It reads calm rather than spooky. A good gift for anyone keeping one black cat and one white one, or for a pair of housemates.
