Moonchild World exists for the people who never quite fitted the shelf they were put on.

We started because the things a practising witch actually wants were scattered across a hundred places that did not understand them — altar cloths sold as tablecloths, pentacles sold as costume jewellery, moon phase art sold as generic wall décor. Nothing was made by anyone who knew what it was for. We wanted one place where the meaning came first and the object came second.

So that is what we built: a shop organised the way practice actually works — by intention, by moon phase, by sabbat, by the thing you are trying to invite in or keep out. Protection. Abundance. Divination. Love and healing. Whether you are drawn to Wicca, to folk magic, to hedge witchery, to a quiet personal practice with no name at all, or you are simply curious and standing at the edge of it — you are welcome here. No gatekeeping, no initiation required, and no judgement about where you are on the path.

What we sell, and where it comes from

We would rather tell you this plainly than have you find out from a parcel.

Some of what we sell is printed to order in the United States — our canvas art, tapestries, blankets, quilts, rugs, doormats, ornaments and suncatchers are made individually for you at partner studios after you place your order. Nothing sits in a box waiting for a buyer.

The rest — jewellery, metal and acrylic signs, altar cloths, wall clocks, candles and altar tools — is prepared and dispatched from partner warehouses overseas. We are not a warehouse company pretending otherwise. This is how a small team can offer a catalogue this wide without marking everything up three times over.

What it means in practice: made-to-order pieces reach the US in around 5–13 business days, curated pieces take longer, and an order containing both will arrive in separate parcels. It is all set out honestly in our Shipping Policy, with real numbers and no small print.

What we promise

  • We answer. Every email to support@moonchildworld.com gets a reply from a person within 1–2 business days.
  • We tell you where things come from before you buy, not after.
  • If it arrives wrong, we fix it. Damaged, broken, not as pictured, or never arrived — refund or replacement, your choice, for 30 days after delivery. If a parcel has not reached you in 60 days, we refund in full without asking you to prove it.
  • We do not hide behind our own policies. If we got it wrong, we say so and put it right.

Where we are going

We are a small team with a long list. We are steadily moving more of the catalogue to studios closer to the people buying from us, dropping the suppliers whose quality does not match what we photograph, and writing more of the guidance — moon phases, sabbats, correspondences, symbols — that made people find us in the first place.

If a piece disappointed you, we want to know. That feedback is the single most useful thing we receive, and it is how the shop gets better.
