A black cat looks straight out from under a slouched teal hat, the brim wide and ragged, a jewelled band and a gold clasp set on the crown. The eyes are bright violet. Around his neck hangs a chain of pentacle charms and one small crossed pendant.
Glass bottles line up on both sides, stoppered with cork and filled with green, amber and purple, candles burning between them. A lit jack-o'-lantern and a small skull sit at the front, and behind it all a violet night sky holds a low moon and a few bats. The heavy carved wood frame is printed flat, like everything else here. The bottles at the front carry the strongest highlights, which is what makes that shelf read as glass.
Hang it over a shelf of actual jars and it stops looking like decor and starts looking like a label for the shelf. It carries the whole of October, and the purple keeps it working the rest of the year. Good for anyone whose cat supervises the herb drawer.
