The crescent is in bloom.
This one is cut to shape rather than round. A green crescent moon curves up the left side, its surface broken into leaf-green panes, with purple and orange flowers and trailing leaves growing along it. A witch sits in the curve in a rust-orange pointed hat with a rose on the brim, long dark hair, a corset top and a heavy olive skirt that falls past the moon's lower horn. One black heeled boot swings free, and a small skull charm hangs at her hip.
Three little discs in grey, red and cream dangle on wires from the top edge, at three different lengths, which is where the wind-chime name comes from.
It is made for glass: hang it against a pane so daylight comes through the green and orange from behind. Good on a kitchen window through late summer and harvest, and a nice gift for someone who keeps plants on every sill and has run out of room for another pot.
