The top stays mostly bare - soft cream, mottled like old paper - with HAPPY HALLOWEEN across it in tall black letters with ragged, dripping ends, a small carved pumpkin standing in for one letter and a black cat slinking past the last.
All the detail sits in the border. A silhouette woodland runs the whole way round: bare branches, hanging lanterns, cobwebs with spiders in them, small ghosts drifting between the trunks, and a black cat in a pointed hat sitting square in the middle. Below that, a solid row of orange jack-o'-lanterns with carved grins fills the scalloped edge. Nothing else on the cloth is bright - the rest is black on cream, closer to an old poster than a party pack, and both round and rectangle sizes carry the same border.
That empty middle is deliberate - leave it for the punch bowl and the platters. Good for a class party, a trick-or-treat station, or Samhain dinner with children at the table.
