Wiccan Goddess Sun and Moon Christmas Ceramic Ornament - Pagan Yule Ornament

Pale stone, two sleeping faces.

The disc is pale stone rather than black, and it carries two faces resting against each other: a gold sun goddess with rays for hair and closed eyes, and a moon goddess in silver-grey with a crescent at her brow and a night sky running through her hair.

A wreath of lavender, rosemary and small green leaves circles them both. Underneath, a small cauldron with a pentacle on it steams green between clear and amethyst points, and a single amethyst drop hangs from the bottom of the ring. The whole thing is warm and matte, closer to carved plaster than to glass.

The cream ground makes it one of the few here that shows up on a dark tree without help from the lights. It also hangs well over a dressing table or a herb shelf. A gentle gift for someone who works with the Goddess in both her forms, or for a Yule handfasting.
