A pewter-grey pentacle laid over burning ground. Orange and yellow flame fills every gap between the arms, and the panels behind glow red, green and deep blue like light coming through coloured panes. A small gold hexagram sits at the centre in a burst of white. The outer ring is teal and stone, ringed with knotwork and marked with four star points at the compass positions. Thin dark lines divide every pane, so the ground looks lit from behind.
Nothing about it is subtle; it reads clearly from the far end of a room. The pane effect and the metal star are both printed onto a flat aluminium circle - there is no real glass here, and the star does not stand proud of the surface.
Hangs well above an altar, over a candle set aside for the fire element, or on the door of a room where ritual actually happens. A direct gift for someone who has just started naming their practice out loud.
