Mjolnir sits upright at the centre of the cloth, knotwork carved into the head, planted in a heap of gold coins with flame rising behind it. A wolf flanks each side: the left one dark furred with one blue eye and one orange, the right one pale grey and snarling, both wearing bronze collars set with sun wheel discs.

Behind them a longship burns on dark water below a mountain ridge. A horned helmet and two bearded axes rest among the coins, and rune charms hang on chains along the top edge. Across the foot, in orange: Live with honor, battle with courage.

The whole thing runs hot, copper and amber and firelight, so it warms up a plain wall or a wood panelled one. It suits a home gym, a study or a heathen altar corner, and works as a gift for someone who marks Yule the Norse way rather than the Wiccan one.
