A single tree fills the circle. The trunk is the best part: not one column but many strands wound together, twisting up the middle and splitting into branches that reach almost to the rim. The roots do the same thing below, spreading out in long wavy runners across the lower third.
The canopy is dense gold, made of thousands of small clustered leaves rather than solid shape, and it presses right up against the edge. Behind it the ground is dark charcoal with a rough, stony texture. A thin brass ring frames the whole disc, with a hole punched top and bottom. The leaves are gold but the sky behind them is not, so the canopy carries all the light.
No Halloween in it at all, so it can hang in a living room, an entryway or over a bed without explanation. The tree of life stands for connection between what is above and what is below, which makes it an easy gift for a housewarming or a handfasting.
Material: aluminium sign, fade-resistant for indoor or covered outdoor use
Sizes: 8x8 inch (20cm x 20cm)
Care: wipe clean with a dry cloth
Note: the raised, carved look is printed onto a flat panel
The Tree of Life anchors the design around roots, growth and connection. The surrounding imagery supports that larger theme of continuity between nature, ancestry and personal growth.
