This one runs plum and gold. A gold sun with a domed face, two small stars pressed into the cheek, throws long curling rays across the left. A gold crescent wraps the right side, its inner edge scrolled into spirals over a deep purple ground streaked like polished stone.
The frame is heavy gold filigree, leaves and volutes, studded with purple stones: faceted rounds at the compass points, pointed teardrops between them, more set in pairs along the ring. Highlights and drop shadows do all the work here, so the sun looks poured, the frame looks cast and the stones look bezel set. All of it is printed onto a flat disc that weighs almost nothing on the hook.
The purple keeps it out of standard sun-and-moon territory, so it sits better in a bedroom or beside an altar shelf than on a porch. Try it against dark paint or bare brick. A safe gift for anyone drawn to amethyst and to the balance of solar and lunar symbols.
