Stone moon, molten sun.

The moon takes the left of the disc, a thick crescent of grey rock with a woman's profile set into it, eyes closed and chin lifted, the surface around her pitted, cratered and shot through with small orange embers. The sun comes to meet her from the right: a gold face freckled with sparks, wrapped in a corona of flame-shaped hair.

Their noses almost touch at the centre. Orange stars scatter the dark ground between them, with one small crescent glyph sitting low in the middle. The product photos carry a flat-panel label for a reason. Every bit of that rock texture, every burning ember and the whole sense of weight is printed onto a thin aluminium disc that is smooth to the touch.
