A dragonfly fills the middle of a black panel, wings out level, each one long and pale with a faint blue-green wash and fine veining running through it. Its body is a chain of brass segments from head to tail, jointed like a length of pipe. Behind it sit gears, tubing and a round gauge at the top with a dark glass face.
Flowers grow up through the machinery in soft peach, cream and blush, with one blue-grey daisy at the bottom left and a small pale butterfly to the right. Brass cogs sit exposed at the base. The rest of the panel stays deep black with scrollwork at the corners, which is why the pale wings and petals stand out so hard. All of it, cogs and petals and wing veins, is printed onto a flat sheet.
Dragonflies carry a lot of meaning around change and short bright seasons, and this one leans steampunk rather than woodland. It fits a study, a workshop wall, or a gift for someone who collects clock parts and dried flowers in equal measure.
