Spirit Board Planchette Shower Curtain - Raven Moon Altar Decor

A gold planchette with a dark orb, ringed by moon phases

The centre holds a large gold filigree planchette, the pointer from a spirit board, teardrop-shaped with a dark polished sphere set in its round window. Around it runs a ring of moon phases, full through gibbous, quarter and crescent, on a black ground scattered with eight-pointed stars. A radiant sun disc with a human face sits above it, and a second faced disc below, half of that face in shadow. One black bird perches on a gold censer lid at each side, facing inward.

Printed burgundy velvet drapes with gold tassels run down both edges, marked with pale silver-white fern and leaf sprigs. Across the bottom third sits a painted altar shelf holding lit dripping candles in brass candlesticks, two crystal balls on footed stands, a row of clear and purple crystal points, and two brass censers trailing pale lavender smoke. Gold acanthus scrollwork frames the top and bottom edges, crescent charms and round medallions hang on fine chains, and deep burgundy blooms with leaves fill the lower corners.

Suits a dark bathroom, or any room where a gothic altar scene has room to be looked at.
