Skull Crow Metal Sign Dark Raven Gothic Home Decor

The raven claims the skull.

A big raven stands with wings folded, feathers laid in neat overlapping rows, beak turned sharply to the right. One clawed foot rests on a human skull tipped up towards you, eye sockets deep in shadow, jaw and teeth intact. Around them lie oak and bramble leaves and clusters of round berries, and the background is a cracked stone wall with the plaster falling away in patches. It is all grey, from slate to ash to bone white, with only the leaves and berries picked out in faded rust brown.

The crumbling wall, the feather edges and the curve of the skull are printed onto one level face. The finish holds up to sun and to weather under cover, and the panel is light on a hook.

That stone tone puts it nearer Gothic than Halloween, so it can hang all year in a study, a stairwell or a covered porch. Suits anyone who works with the Morrigan, or who simply likes corvids more than most people do.
