A witch at a gothic altar under a full orange moon

The witch stands with her back to the viewer at the top of a stone altar, in a wide pointed hat and a long black gown patterned like lace. Behind her a tall pointed-arch window holds a full orange moon with a spired skyline in silhouette across it. Rows of lit black taper candles run the length of the altar, a brass vessel sits among them, and a gold triple moon is set on the altar front over a gold disc of radiating lines.

Two large black birds perch on stone pedestals either side, and two hooded figures in pale robes hold lit candles by the steps. Crimson banners carry a gold crescent and a gold sunburst medallion, and gold quatrefoil tracery fills the head of the window. Orange and black pumpkins, red and orange maple leaves and climbing ivy gather on the columns, steps and floor, with a red and gold patterned carpet running down the middle. The ground stays deep wine red and black, which lets the antique gold read from across a room.
