A large black raven sits in three-quarter profile on a stack of antique books draped in purple velvet, with a wide glowing full moon behind it. Around its neck hangs a fine gold chain carrying a crescent moon and a purple teardrop crystal. Seven gold-framed tarot cards lie scattered around the bird: a seated black cat, a chalice, a crystal cluster, a crescent moon behind cloud, a bird with wings spread, a radiating sunburst, and a winged insect. An arc of moon phases runs across the top, with an eight-pointed star at the centre and small stars between them.

The background sits at near-black, so the gold linework carries from across a room. Dark plum roses and deep green leaves bank up both sides, framed by trailing vine scrollwork and chains of pointed crystal pendants down the outer edges. Lit candles stand in brass holders either side of the raven, a gold sphere rests beside the velvet drape, and two gold medallions sit low in the print: one a crescent moon inside a ringed dial, the other a sunburst laid out like a compass rose. Crystal points stand at the bottom corners. Black, plum, gold and ivory are the only colours in play.
